The lake is oligotrophic, very clean and a source of good quality drinking water.
Tour started in the morning in Salzburg Hyperion Hotel where I met my customers, Andy and his family from Taiwan. The view of the Berchtesgaden Alps approaches as soon as we leave the city of Salzburg. After short drive we cross the border between Austria and Germany, region of Bavaria, to get more stunning views of the Alps.
While passing through the town of Berchtesgaden, we can see, among other things, the Eagle’s Nest rising high in the mountains, but that was not our goal today
After parking in the central parking lot, and short walk we reached our point of interest, Konigssee lake. Views of the Berchtesgaden Alps are now all around the lake. What a stunnig view!
